Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: [DATE]  |  ABN: [ABN]
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services and website provided by Marzola Hair Skin & Wellness, located at 14 Gordon Street, Glenelg, South Australia 5045 (“the Clinic”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking an appointment, attending the Clinic, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About the Clinic

Marzola Hair Skin & Wellness is a private medical and wellness clinic providing doctor-led aesthetic, dermal, medical, and wellness services in Glenelg, South Australia. Our services are provided by AHPRA-registered medical practitioners and qualified clinical staff.

Our clinic operates as an adult-only service. All patients must be 18 years of age or older to receive treatment.

2. Medical Disclaimer

The information provided on our website and in our clinic is intended for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment.

All treatments carry inherent risks. Before any procedure or treatment commences, you will receive a thorough medical consultation. Our clinical team will explain all known risks, contraindications, and alternatives specific to your situation. You are encouraged to ask questions and seek a second opinion before proceeding.

Results vary between individuals. No guarantee of a specific outcome is made or implied.

3. Appointments & Bookings

Appointments may be booked online via our secure booking system, by telephone, or by email. Booking an appointment constitutes your agreement to these Terms.

We request that you:

  • Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment if you are a new patient.
  • Bring a valid photo ID and your physical or digital Medicare card where applicable.
  • Provide an accurate and complete medical history and current medication list at the time of booking and consultation.
  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your health status prior to your appointment.

4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We operate a strict cancellation and no-show policy to ensure efficient use of our resources and timely access to care for all patients.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer your appointment slot to another patient.

Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice, may result in a $100 cancellation or no-show fee. This fee will be charged to the payment card held on file where the conditions of this policy have not been met.

We reserve the right to decline future bookings where repeated cancellation or no-show behaviour has occurred.

5. Fees, Billing & Medicare

Marzola Hair Skin & Wellness operates as a mixed-billing medical clinic. A full cost estimate will be provided to you prior to any treatment commencing. We will never proceed with a chargeable service without your prior informed consent.

Medicare rebates apply to eligible general practice and mental health consultations. You are responsible for understanding your own Medicare eligibility. We process eligible rebates directly at the time of your visit where possible.

Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.

6. Informed Consent

Informed consent is required before any clinical procedure, treatment, or invasive service is performed. A member of our clinical team will explain the nature of the proposed treatment, expected outcomes, material risks, and available alternatives before seeking your consent.

You have the right to withdraw consent at any time prior to a procedure commencing. Withdrawal of consent after a procedure has commenced may not always be possible where doing so would create greater clinical risk.

Consent obtained under duress, or without adequate information having been provided, is not valid. If at any point you feel you have not been adequately informed, please raise this with our clinical team before proceeding.

7. Patient Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all patients and staff. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person who behaves in a manner that is abusive, threatening, or disruptive to the operation of the Clinic or the wellbeing of our team.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is a priority. Marzola Hair Skin & Wellness collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal and health information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and all applicable South Australian health legislation.

Your personal and health information will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected, including the provision of clinical care, billing, and communication relating to your treatment.
